Student queue for admissions offices, registrars and exam centers

An applicant scans the QR code at the admissions office, picks what they came for and gets on with the day: the Please come to desk 3 notification reaches their phone when it is time. On exam days candidates check in with a last name, first attempts and retakes run as separate lines, and the board calls people in one at a time.

Sound familiar?

Admissions week in one corridor

Every applicant arrives with a folder in the same few days, the hallway is full by nine, and staff answer where do I stand instead of checking documents.

A paper list at the exam door

Names read out at the door, a candidate who stepped out for water and missed the call, and nobody sure who is next.

Quick questions stuck behind full applications

Someone needs one signature and waits an hour behind twenty people with complete document sets.

02

How this works where you are

Create a queue from the Exam template

The template sets up first attempt and retake as services, calls candidates one at a time and asks for a last name when someone joins.

QR on the door, board in the hall

Applicants join from the corridor or the café downstairs and see how many people are ahead and roughly how long it will take.

Staff call the next person

Staff press Next and the student gets a push in the browser or a Telegram message with the desk number, even if they left the building.

03

What you will actually use

Booked slots for document submission

Applicants book a time, get a reminder, move it themselves if plans change and tap I’m here on arrival. A cancelled slot goes to the waitlist and is held for the next person. Business plan.

Separate lines for separate matters

Submission, consultation, first attempts and retakes each get their own prefix and desks, and a desk sees only its own tickets. Business plan.

Hours by day and special days

Different hours on each weekday, a lunch break, and exceptions for holidays or the last day of admissions. Students see when the office opens next. Included in the free plan.

A daily quota

Cap how many tickets the day can take, so nobody waits for a desk that closes before their turn. Included in the free plan.

Share with family

A parent follows the place in line from their own phone through a view-only link that cannot cancel or move anything. Every plan.

Candidate lists from Excel

On Business Pro bookings can be loaded from an .xlsx or .csv file, so a list you already have becomes time slots in one go, and the results export back to Excel.

Common questions

Yes. The Exam template creates first attempt and retake as two services with their own prefixes, so neither jumps ahead of the other, and staff see both in one list. Services are part of the Business plan.

No. A ticket is anonymous by default: just a number. A last name or student ID field can be switched on, and it is only asked for in queues run by a verified account, kept briefly and collected with consent.

No. Scanning the QR code opens the line in the phone browser, with no app and no signup. People see their number, how many are ahead and roughly how long it will take.

One or two desks run free: up to two windows per account and two staff accounts per queue, notifications via Telegram and browser push, a display board with voice call-ups, a kiosk and daily stats. Business is $49 a month for 10 windows and adds services with routing, appointments, your own branding and analytics over any period. Business Pro is $79 a month for 30 windows: no badge from us, Excel export, forecasting, a network of branches and integrations. Extra windows are added one at a time; you pay for windows, not for locations or visitors. Business Pro is on for 5 days when you sign up, and no card is asked for.
