Government, visa and immigration offices

Multilingual queue for government, visa and immigration offices

A visitor scans the QR code at the entrance, reads the ticket page in their own language, picks the service they came for and sees how many people are ahead. The board calls M-042, window 4 out loud, a tablet kiosk prints a paper ticket for anyone without a phone, and the ticket itself is just a number: no name or passport details are needed to wait.

Sound familiar?

Visitors who do not read the local language

The sign says take a number, the terminal speaks one language, and half the hall asks the security guard what to do next.

Waiting since before opening

People arrive hours early to be sure of a place, the line spills into the street, and nobody knows whether they will be seen today at all.

Personal data on a clipboard

Paper lists with names and passport numbers lie on a table by the door where anyone waiting can read them.

02

How this works where you are

Create a queue from the Migration center template

The template sets up windows for submitting and collecting documents, a second call for anyone who stepped away, and a last name field you can switch off. Two windows run free.

QR at the entrance, kiosk by the door

Visitors join on their own phone in one of 16 languages. A tablet kiosk gives a printed ticket to anyone who arrives without one.

The board calls each number out loud

Number and window appear on any TV and are announced by voice. On the Business plan the call can be repeated in a second language where a voice for it is available.

03

What you will actually use

16 languages for visitors

The ticket page and the waiting status follow the visitor language, and the screens work with VoiceOver on iPhone and TalkBack on Android. Included in the free plan.

A number, not a name

Waiting in line needs no personal data at all. If you switch on a name field, it is only asked for in queues run by a verified account, kept briefly and collected with consent.

Services routed to windows

Submission, collection, consultation: each with its own prefix, windows tied to services, and a transfer to another service that keeps the same number. Business plan.

Hours by day and a daily quota

Weekday hours with a break, public holidays and short days set in advance, and a daily quota so nobody queues for a slot that will not come. Included in the free plan.

Wait estimates that account for staff

The estimate counts the windows that are actually staffed. When everyone steps away, visitors see Service is paused instead of a number that keeps lying. Every plan.

Staff roles and an action log

Administrators and operators with separate rights, PIN sign-in, instant revoke and a log of who did what. Several offices roll up into one network with combined analytics on Business Pro.

What it costs

Common questions

It is the default rather than a separate mode: a ticket is a number, and visitors neither sign up nor give a name to wait. A name field is optional, and only queues run by a verified account can ask for one.

Yes, on the Business plan: visitors book a slot, get a reminder, can change the time themselves and tap I’m here on arrival. Running booked visits and the walk-in line in one queue is part of Business Pro.

Your staff can add that person to the line by hand in one tap, or you can put a tablet by the door as a kiosk: press the button, get a number, print a paper ticket if you want one. The board calls numbers out loud, so nobody has to watch a screen.

One or two desks run free: up to two windows per account and two staff accounts per queue, notifications via Telegram and browser push, a display board with voice call-ups, a kiosk and daily stats. Business is $49 a month for 10 windows and adds services with routing, appointments, your own branding and analytics over any period. Business Pro is $79 a month for 30 windows: no badge from us, Excel export, forecasting, a network of branches and integrations. Extra windows are added one at a time; you pay for windows, not for locations or visitors. Business Pro is on for 5 days when you sign up, and no card is asked for.
