Events, hiring days and volunteer check-in

Check-in queue for events, hiring days and volunteer selection

Candidates, volunteers or guests scan a QR code at the entrance, take a number on their own phone and wait wherever there is room, not in a line snaking out of the building. The board calls A-214, desk 6 out loud, a daily quota stops new tickets once the day is full, and each desk presses Next from a phone or laptop. Nothing to rent and nothing to install.

Sound familiar?

A line out of the door at opening

Everyone arrives for the start, the corridor fills up, and your team spends the first hour managing the crowd instead of interviewing anyone.

Clipboards and shouted names

A paper list at the entrance, names called across a hall, and people who missed their call arguing that they were here first.

Everyone on the venue Wi-Fi

At a venue the whole crowd shares one network, and an ordinary online queue reads that as one person trying to take a pile of tickets.

02

How this works where you are

Create a queue from the Event template

Enter how many people you expect. The template turns on large numbers for the hall and sets a daily quota with a 20% margin, so tickets stop once the day is full.

QR at the entrance, board in the hall

Print the poster for the door and the waiting area, and open the board on any TV. A tablet kiosk covers anyone who arrives without a phone.

Each desk presses Next

Two desks run free. Ten registration or interview desks fit the Business plan, where each desk can take only its own stage, such as documents or interviews.

03

What you will actually use

Shared Wi-Fi at the venue

Guests on one network stop looking like one person: this queue gets raised limits for the event, up to 72 hours, and live tickets are counted per phone. A daily quota or a capacity is required. Business plan.

A daily quota

Set how many people the day can take. Once the quota is reached the queue stops handing out numbers, so nobody waits for an interview slot that does not exist. Included in the free plan.

Stages at separate desks

Documents, interview, badge pickup: each stage is a service with its own prefix, and each desk is offered only its own tickets. Business plan.

Wait estimates that stay honest

The estimate counts the desks that are staffed right now. When half the team takes a break the minutes grow at once, and if nobody is left people see Service is paused. Every plan.

16 languages for an international crowd

Each visitor reads the ticket page in their own language, and the page works with VoiceOver and TalkBack. Included in the free plan.

A rotating QR code on the board

On Business Pro the code on the board changes every 30 seconds and a scan gives 10 minutes to take a ticket, so a photo of the poster in a group chat does not let people queue from home. An occupancy counter shows how many are inside.

04

What it costs

Common questions

Yes, if you want them to. Turn on tickets only on site and set a radius around the venue. With Join in advance switched on, people can take a number on the way, but staff cannot call them until they tap I’m here inside the radius; their place is kept meanwhile. Both are part of the free plan.

Yes. Close the day in the evening, by hand or automatically, and numbering starts from one again the next morning with a fresh daily quota. Shared Wi-Fi at the venue, on the Business plan, can stay on for up to 72 hours.

Your staff can add that person to the line by hand in one tap, or you can put a tablet by the door as a kiosk: press the button, get a number, print a paper ticket if you want one. The board calls numbers out loud, so nobody has to watch a screen.

One or two desks run free: up to two windows per account and two staff accounts per queue, notifications via Telegram and browser push, a display board with voice call-ups, a kiosk and daily stats. Business is $49 a month for 10 windows and adds services with routing, appointments, your own branding and analytics over any period. Business Pro is $79 a month for 30 windows: no badge from us, Excel export, forecasting, a network of branches and integrations. Extra windows are added one at a time; you pay for windows, not for locations or visitors. Business Pro is on for 5 days when you sign up, and no card is asked for.

Try it at your place
